Well, we can honestly say that our Jam Packed attire was noticeable today...we were the only ones not wearing cheeseheads, Farve jerseys, face paint or wiener leis (though we were tempted). We had a perfect location with maximum visibility at The Stadium View, a local hangout for a huge pre-game party.

The day's promotions included radio remotes with WOZZ, the mobile billbard making its way through the crowded streets, Segways buzzing around, a booth with signage in a prime location, and our street team out in full force. Together, with the huge crowds and Cindy's favorite cheese curds, it made for Einstein's version of a perfect storm, with all the campaign elements coming together for a successful event.

We even convinced former-Packer Gilbert Brown to sign with Einstein...well, maybe not, but we did get him to sign our Segway!

Live from The Bar East in Green Bay

The blog may have been silent for awhile, but the street team hasn't been! The talent team and I spent the evening at The Bar East in Green Bay. It was an event full of excitement with The Eagle hosting a live radio remote, the mobile billboard driving around, and the street team conducting sound checks.

Two reps from Sony Ericsson were also on hand to check out our Jam Packed campaign in full swing. They enjoyed seeing Einstein in action and, of course, had to test drive the segways!

Einstein Street Team Hits The Streets Again

The Einstein street team is back on the streets in full force! Caitlin from the OC team has been trained on the segways and now we're ready to hit the streets.

As for myself, after a much needed break, I am back on the scene currently in Madison. Caitlin and I hit up the streets of Madison today cruzin around on our segway, talking to people about the phone and Einstein's great service plans.

Tomorrow we head to Green Bay and the Fox Cites... Join us tomorrow night at Buffalo Wild Wing's in GB if you happen to be around...

The Nitty Gritty in Madison

Saturday night the street team was at the Nitty Gritty bar in Madison. This is a very busy bar that a lot of the University of Wisconsin- Madison students hang out. It is especially busy now because all of the students are returning for school.

Everyone was very receptive at the Nitty Gritty. As usual the Sony Ericsson Walkman w810 was a huge hit. People loved to actually hold the phone and use all of the features. Perhaps the best part was taking photos of everyone. The quality of the photos taken on this phone is unlike any other phone currently on the market.

The team will be hitting up the college campus early this week in Madison. Keep your eye out for the Einstein segways and if you see one stop by and check out the phone.

Live Radio Remote from Pedro's

We were at Pedro's on Friday night along with WJJO. Pedro's serves Mexican food and they are known for their corn cake. You'd have to try it to know how good it is.

The street team interacted with a lot of people on Friday and had fun too. The manager insisted that we were sombreros.

The phone was a huge as usual. Everyone we would show the phone to loved all of the features and of course the best part about the phone was the music! All of the pictures turned out awesome from the night. It was fun to really talk to people one-on-one about the phone and all of its features.

Congratulations to Bill Ford! Bill was the winner of the Sony Ericsson Walkman w300 phone.

State Street Brats

Tonight our street team was at State Street Brats. This is a great local bar. It's right on State Street with a hometown college feel to it. It was great to interact with the college kids coming back to start another year of school. We spoke with a variety of students tonight who were all getting ready for school to begin.

Perhaps my favorite part of the night was when I asked a group of guys if they had heard of Einstein Wireless before and all of them replied, "Yes." I then asked what they knew about Einstein and one yelled, "Simple is Smart." It was so great to hear people associating the brand with the slogan.

Tomorrow is our live radio remote at Pedro's. If you're in the area stop by and check it out. We'll be giving away prizes and you get to play with Sony Ericsson Walkman phone- I'll even take a picture of you!

Street Team in Madison

I arrived in Madison last night and this is my first time in the great state of Wisconsin. However, my bag did not arrive with me. I ended up receiving my bag at 4 am this morning though, so all is well!

Cindy and I are leading up the street team this week and we’re very excited to show off the Sony Ericsson phone and talk about Einstein Wireless.

Our street team was at Wando’s bar last night here in Madison. Pretty cool bar and they are known for their huge fishbowls! Apparently they have six different flavors- here is a photo of one.
It was a Wednesday night, so it wasn’t too busy in Wando’s, but still a pretty good crowd. There was a banker’s convention in town so a lot of the people were from out-of-town, but they were very impressed with Einstein’s unlimited plans. Some even asked if they could get a plan for their state.

We hear that this will be a crazy weekend since everyone is returning for school. If you get a chance catch us at State Street Brats tonight.

A New Record Set at Jaycees Brat Days

We attended the Jaycees Brat Days in Sheboygan this past weekend. As you can probably tell from the name of this event, there were lots and lots of brats. It was a festival that lasted for three days at Kiwanis Park in Sheboygan. Live bands entertained us every evening while people ate their weight in sausages!

This event drew huge crouds this year with an ESPN televised brat eating contest. After downing 58 brats in 10 minutes, Takeru Kobayashi (the guy who wins the Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest every year) was named the winner of the Sheyboygan competition.

The Einstein Street Team had a lot of fun and met a lot of good people from Wisconsin. We handed out baseball shaped stress balls, promoted our Jam Packed CD, and let everyone know that Einstein is their local wireless provider!

Einstein at Buffalo Wild Wings (BW3s)

The Einstein Street Team was at Buffalo Wild Wings last night for a rockin' good time. We also had 96.9 'The Fox" with us and the senior management team from Einstein Wireless. It was a great time, and we were able to talk to a lot of Wisconsin folks while handing out the awesome MAMA CD!

We even got the Einstein team riding the Segways (and while I won't mention any names, there were some people who wouldn't get off of them!). It was a ton of fun. We want to thank Buffalo Wild Wings, the Fox, and the entire Einstein team for making this event such a success. Check out the pictures!

Out and About in Appleton

Well today we hit streets of Appleton to show off the w810!! People love this phone and are very impressed with Einstein. It is great to see the brand name finally getting out to the public; helping them understand what a great company, such as Einstein, can do for them.

Each day that we continue to this we see the interest grow. From the hotel staff, when we ride in on the segways, to the downtown shop owner who thinks this kind of marketing is awesome!!

The Street Team is off to Appleton today!! We finished up at the Tall Ship Festival in record 100+ weather. We also got Val off and running on the Segway! (look for pictures to come)

We want to thank everyone in Green Bay for their hospitality such as Days Inn City Center, Maloney's, GB Police (who love the Segway!), and Fetza (the greatest Greek restaurant)!

This is what can happen when a Tall Ship needs to pass at the Tall Ship Festival. It call also seperate an entire Street Team for hours...as it so happend to our street team. Then we did what only a smart street team would do--we walked to another bridge and developed a new plan on the fly!! Go Einstein Street Team Go!!

Green Bay Loves the Phone!!

We've discoved that the people of Green Bay love the phone and the great rate plans that Einstein has to offer. We talked to a local couple tonight at Maloney's who are unhappy with their carrier. They were interested in Einstein Wireless, so we got on the new Walkman phone with Einstein's Customer Care. They learned about Einstein's service plans and were impressed with the local, personalized service. Needless to say, they were very thrilled and are going to go to the Appleton location to become an Einstein customer!

I want to do a quick shout out to thank Kerri and PJ at Maloney's for letting us come into to thier establishment and demo the phones. It's so great to be out and about, meeting local people who are so open to helping us with our initiative.

I also want to thank Cindy and the entire First Choice Talent Team for helping us make these events in Green Bay such a success... Check out these pictures!!

Anyone who has worked on an event schedule knows that being able to think on your feet is critical. That is exactly what the OC Ground Team has been doing. We all have run into a few obstacles this week, but we've been able to quickly think on our feet (or on our Segways as the case may be) and target new events.

Thanks to our entire OC Team back in Montana, the staff at the hotels, and the talent agency First Choice for helping us work on the fly!! Go team go!

As a side note, this is why our blog has been a little short with posts. Hopefully we can blog tonight and share great pictures from the road along with fun stories!!!

You can't bring it with you, but you do need one for an adventure such as Jam Packed! If you ever decide to tote two Segways, 7 boxes of CDs, four weeks worth of luggage, and dozens of shirts and misc. giveaways, make sure your hotel -Days Inn- has an elevator. You see, when you have to lug all of this cargo up and down stairs in the rain late at night, you want to call Days Inn corporate and ask what possessed them to build a two-story, hundred plus room hotel with only two narrow stair wells.

Oh, that's right! There is the wheel chair lift. But the sympathetic night manager, May, who has worked at the Rib Mountain Days Inn for seven years, said only the owner has the key and thus, it has never been used. Then she whispered, "The lift is tested annually when the building inspectors come a knockin'." I guess Luke and I should be happy we are not wheel chair bound.

Luke and I thought we had come to grips with this structural oversight, but less than 12 hours later, I became Segway roadkill. All I remember is being at the stop of the stairs...then 25 steps later, I landed at the bottom wedged between the wall and the Segway. Thank goodness Luke heard the ruckess from his room and ran to help me. So, umm, May, I'm here for a few more days -- Where's the key to the chair lift??? What is the owner's number?

We Survived Madison

Welcome back Einstein Fans!

Well, the street team was out and about in downtown Madison yesterday. We handed out lots of coupons and MAMA CDs. It was alot of fun, and the people seemed open to taking handouts and LOVED the W810i. The Segways also attracted a ot of attention, and people stopped just to see them.

It was a wonderful day until one of our Segways broke down in a fluke happening. The great team at Segway of Milwaukee drove up to Madison to bring us a brand new one at no charge. Thanks Chuck!!

While we were waiting we hung out with the Madison Einstein team. Kevin and the gang were awesome to chat with, and we learned more and more about Einstein. We were also able to share what we are doing on the street team front.

Then it was off to Wausau--which is where this blog is being written. We will be out and about downtown today!! Also, there is this really funny hotel incident that Cindy and I experienced. It was just too funny, but I know Cindy wants to tell it, so you'll all just have to wait.

We are off to downtown Madison to meet with Einstein Wireless... and of course the only way we would do it is in style on our new Segways! It should be a fun time. The team on the street and on the ground have been preparing all night.

We have patches sewn, Segways polished, Einstein garb on and were ready to roll...

The launch of the W810i is tomorrow here in Madison, WI. It is the night before and there is a tired giddiness that is setting in... Especially when you start laughing hysterically in Walgreen’s because you can't find lanyards and are looking for sewing kit at 8:30 at night... The night before is the critical time to get the final details done. Tomorrow is Go Time...

I know it will all come together wonderfully tomorrow and with the great OC Team!!

A Segway of a Day!

It will be a Segway of Day... I'm first off to pickup my other partner in crime for this leg of the trip Super Cindy!! She will be learning with me how to operate our Segway's! I should be a fun and interesting time. Then after the training we are off to Madison as tomorrow is lunch in the park the first launch date!!

On a side note I was able to experience true Wisconsin with my family members who live here as I was at a family barbecue in Appleton one the cities that Einstein serves. It provided great incite into the brand and also some good hometown Wisconsin Brats ummm...

The Wisconsin Tour...

Wisconsin: It truly is America's dairy land... I was able to see that today as I took some detours to get to other Einstein cites such as the back road from Green Bay to Fond Du Lac... Very Scenic!!

Well Einstein Fans! We are getting closer to the launch only 4 days left, I would count the hours for you, but at the moment that uses too much brain power and I am trying to rest it!!

More exciting updates to come tomorrow as I get to play with W810i's and share their awesomeness with you!

Well all it is time to hit the ground running to find that perfect spot to Segway around... Today's travels will include a trip to Green Bay for a meeting and scouting. Then down to Madison for a quick jaunt around town to see what is happening.

It is Jam Packed Time!! For those of you who don't know the O'Berry Cavanaugh Team is embarking on a 40 day adventure to create brand awareness for Einstein Wireless and the launch of the new Sony Walkman W810i Phone!!

All of this will be taking place in the great state of Wisconsin, so if your out in that neck of the woods let us know we might just stop by you're event on our Segway's!
